Join SBE

 

SBE membership provides a great way to build yourself as a young professional in the bioengineering field. As a member, you will enjoy many benefits such as networking with like-minded peers, professional interaction with research scientists and employers in hiring positions, educational workshops/tutoring sessions, community service opportunities, reduced conference prices, student webinars and much more!

Membership costs $15 for a semester and $25 for a year (a year-long membership includes a t-shirt). We take cash and checks (made payable to University of Houston Society for Biological Engineering) in our office in room T-120C. Join a Committee

Interested in running for an officer position in the future, add a little something extra to your resume, or just want to get more involved with SBE? Join one of our officer committees! From volunteering committee to fundraising committee, we're sure to have something that you'd be interested in. Just fill out a committee form and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Get Tutoring

If you need help getting that A in one of your classes, request tutoring. We have specialized tutors in all of your basic science and computer classes as well as some of the more difficult classes that are required for Biotechnology. Let us know if you need help, and we'll set up a time with you. If your class is not listed in our tutoring document, contact us anyway and we'll see what we can do.
